| "Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust (PCT)'s website is proving to be a big hit with local residents a year after its re-launch. Since re-launching the site in July 2004 the number of new or unique visitors to the site, each month, has risen by more than 200 per cent from 945 in July 2004 to 2844 in July 2005. The most popular pages on the site are the work-with-us pages, which give visitors information on available benefits, types of careers and also access to online recruitment. Also proving extremely popular are the local services pages, which give visitors access to a wide range of contact details from across the PCT.
PCT Chief Executive, Ian Ayres, said: "I am delighted to be able to report that our improved website has proved to be such a hit with the public. The Internet is becoming more and more popular as a means of giving and receiving information and we feel it is important for us to have a user-friendly online presence. The website gives us an opportunity to tell the public about what we are doing and gives them an opportunity to feedback to us, as well as offering an easy, comprehensive guide to our services."
